"This is upscale hotel in the best area of Hartford. It is located in the very historical Goodwin Square building. The only problem we had was to locate the Hotel entrance and some drunk and inadequate people on the streets in surrounding area during night time."

We had a challenging morning and from the time we walked in to check in, Gretchen had us relaxed and ready to start our weekend away. "

No coffee maker, iron, or hairdryer in the room, but mini-fridge and microwave were provided. No breakfast, but host did offer coffee when we checked out. Area is commercial/industrial but seemed safe enough. Just off the turnpike. Great breakfast at the Vernon Dinner nearby. "
