"This is upscale hotel in the best area of Hartford. It is located in the very historical Goodwin Square building. The only problem we had was to locate the Hotel entrance and some drunk and inadequate people on the streets in surrounding area during night time."

Gretchen at the front desk is an exceptional welcoming person to your establishment. She went above and beyond to make everything comfortable for us. We had a challenging morning and from the time we walked in to check in, Gretchen had us relaxed and ready to start our weekend away. "

"The Red Roof Inn in Vernon has very friendly helpful staff. The hotel is old and shows a lot of wear but our room was clean and well stocked. It was a perfect quick one night stop on a longer trip. It is right next door to Rein's Deli which has delicious food. "

"Clean room, comfortable inner spring mattress, new vinyl flooring and tiled bathroom, AC worked well. Staff was courteous and efficient. Very basic. No coffee maker, iron, or hairdryer in the room, but mini-fridge and microwave were provided. No breakfast, but host did offer coffee when we checked out. Area is commercial/industrial but seemed safe enough. Just off the turnpike. Great breakfast at the Vernon Dinner nearby. "
