"Great location, handy to Southern Cross Station. Easy to find car parking. Setting up the QR code for paying for parking was a bit tricky. Breakfast included and very busy. just find your own table and cue up for breakfast. Housekeeping a little disappointing. We stayed for 5 nights - bins emptied once - floor never vacuumed - only beds made and towels changed. we had three people in our room. We had to track down cleaners for tea bags, toilet paper and more milk. I could see they were training some young staff. Not always easy with staff completing the required jobs on time. my suggestion would be to have a cleaner supervisor that oversees the rooms once they are cleaned or made up. Showers grout in walls needed a good scrub. otherwise great stay."

"Room was clean and ready when we arrived on a very late flight. Staff at reception checkin were very good. Coffee from restaurant at breakfast is also good. We were provided with two vouchers for 25% off to dine in but when we went use them the restaurant is closed Fridays and Saturdays. Maybe that should have been mentioned when we were handed the vouches and advised of the discount."

"The property is only 2 1/2 years old and the elevator system was fantastic. The gym and sauna/hot tub/swimming pool were all terrific and the hours great. The apartment was very spacious with a well equipped kitchen . Location very convenient. All in all a great stay. "

"I recently stayed at ibis budget Melbourne CBD and found it to be a decent option for a short stay. The room itself was clean and well-maintained, which I appreciated. However, the overall atmosphere felt a bit gloomy, likely due to the dark or dull paint choices. The bathroom setup is a bit unusual cuz the toilet is separated from the shower area, and instead of a proper door for the shower, there’s only a curtain located outside near the sink and shower space. It works, but it may feel a bit awkward if you’re sharing the room. There’s no microwave in the room, but guests can use a shared one in the dining area, which is convenient enough. Laundry facilities are available as well, though limited and there are only two washers and two dryers, and each use costs $5. Overall, it’s a practical and budget-friendly stay with clean rooms, but a few design and facility limitations to keep in mind."
