As for the location, lots of places to grab a bite or drink nearby. The train station was a 10 to 12 min walk but very doable....

"We were welcomed by the friendly staff and they were super helpful! They gave us a map with ideas of where to go and what to do. They offered us a drink as we waited in the lobby for the key and seemed genuinely happy to have us staying with them. The room was super clean and had a lovely balcony that we could sit out on and watch the activity down on the street. In the morning, they happily stored our luggage so we could explore ahead of our car rental being ready. We would be glad to stay...

Quiet location on a nice square with a few bars, very central and near to the river / old town funicular. Staff were adorable. Breakfast was very carb-heavy but amazing bread. Would visit again for a solid budget stay in a great location."
