"This place was ok for us to stay for a couple of nights. The bed and towels were clean and comfortable but the place was rundown and old. The carpet in the room was stained and not fresh looking. The kitchen was ok for our needs and it was in a convenient location for where we wanted to visit but it was far from the centre of town and it is not near any cafes or restaurants (30 min walk to centre of town). The receptionist was extremely helpful and professional and helped us with whatever questions and needs we had. Check-in and check-out were easy. "

"Good stay overall, mini golf, ping pong and tennis. Room was tidy, just one issue with microwave starting, was bit old. Pool was heated, not hot, expected a bit higher for rotorua, recomend a few more degrees to make comfortable on the cold days but fine for exercise."

"The lift was not working, and we stayed at the second floor. The light was not working so we had to go down the stairs with our phone's flashlight. The facilities were dated but enough to use; kitchen stovetop and bathroom shower were rusted. The motel only provided 1-day supply of hair shampoo and soap, so have to use sparingly if you don't bring toiletries and are staying for more than a day. Receptionist was polite, and let us view the room before paying. Location is good, near to Rotorua's attractions + restaurants at walking distance."

"Arrived an hour after check in had opened and reception was deserted. No bell to attract attention, had to phone them up (which rang the phone in front of us) and ask them to come to reception. We had booked a room with a private spa pool, but couldn't fill it up. Hubbie returned to reception and came back with the tale that they had run out of hot water because other units had filled their pools up. Even at 8am the next morning there was still no hot water for our spa pool. The only redeeming feature was the bed sheets were very clean and white. "

"Manky hotel needing a serious upgrade! Got ‘upgraded’ to a room that overlooked a pile of weeds instead of the race course. Shower was mouldy & the bath out on the veranda is very odd. Never trust the photos online. "
