"The staff helping with cehck-in was very friendly and helpful.
We booked the suite room and it was special and well equipped. The sofa bed was however abit stained, but they provided additional.bedding set for used as bed."
"We had a wonderful stay in the Rasa Wing for 5 nights in May 2026. The suite was spacious with a balcony overlooking the gardens/sea. The hotel is spotless and the staff are so friendly and helpful. It was my husband's birthday and they sent a delicious chocolate cake to the room and decorated our room with towel origami which was a delight. We had a Nespresso machine and bottled water delivered daily. The breakfast had a great buffet selection and menu to choose from. Breakfast felt relaxed. We enjoyed the afternoon tea from 3-4pm once and it was delicious, not too much food. We also enjoyed the drinks and food in the bar from 5:30-7pm a few times and the quality of food and drinks was exceptional. I used the spa and had a lovely facial and felt so relaxed afterwards. The pool area was relaxing. The concierge was very helpful with recommendations and there is a free shuttle bus into Georgetown. We ate at the Pinang bar and restaurant twice and had cocktails during sunset one evening. The food and service were excellent. This is a really lovely hotel and the grounds are beautiful and well cared for. Although the decor is a little dated in comparison to more modern hotels, it doesn't take anything away from the overall experience. I would highly recommend staying here and would return. In Batu Ferringhi we ate in Ferringhi Garden and Grand Lebanon and had delicious food in both. A big thanks to all the staff who made our stay so enjoyable :-)"
"Firstly, let me start by saying we were staying as a couple and didn’t realise it was the school holidays in south east Asia, so this definitely colours my review. The pool area looked amazing when we arrived, but the entire time we were there it was completely crowded with kids - who were having an amazing time and it’s definitely a great resort for families. For us, it was so noisy, overcrowded and you couldn’t get an alcoholic drink until 3pm… and even then, there never seemed to be anyone around in the lounge to serve drinks so you have to head over to Sigi’s. I promise I’m not usually a day drinker, but when I’m on holiday at a resort, a day time cocktail is part of holidaying. In good news, you can wander next door to the Rasa resort, which is way quieter and serves drinks with a smile. So my honest opinion - if you’re looking for family friendly, go to the Golden Sands; if you’re looking for relaxing couple-time, go to the Rasa."
