The bedroom and bathroom were lovely, the breakfasts amazing, the staff always happy to help and the location just off the A590 was perfect for exploring the whole Lake District. My only rejoinder was that the stairs to the rooms are a little challenging for someone like me who is mobility impaired. Additional banisters and/or handles would greatly help but I managed overall and we were very happy with our stay. Evening meals were exceptional too. A fantastic family run B&B. Our 1st time here, albeit, we may have stayed in the Lakes over two dozen times. Very friendly services. Excellent breakfast. Andy and Micheal are truly making our 3 nights stay better than most hotels we have stayed at in the Lake District.

Lovely large and clean room witb a super comfortable bed. Friendly and helpful staff.

Room decoration is super. Bed is so comfy. Restaurant foods are excellent. Only down is that entry is very narrow to get into the property.

We stayed at LuLus the night before starting the C2C hike. The location is very convenient to the train station and within walking distance to several restaurants, and the trail entrance. Our room was clean and comfortable, and our host was welcoming.

We had a very lovely time Mike and Elena were the perfect hosts. Nothing was too much. The hotel has been refurbished to a high standard and the conservatory and outside dining space was brilliant. The food was delicious and plenty of it ( too much) We will definitely go back The locals were very friendly to strangers

What a pleasant stay. The property is a short walk from the train station; go out, turn left and keep left until you see the building. The housekeeper is very kind and accommodating. The city’s ocean front is comfortable with benches and picnic tables, plus walkable beach reaches. If you enjoy watching happy dogs, this place will make your smile extreme (yes, I love dogs). It was an amazing stay, the local people and the bartender are truly friendly. Totally recommend the place.

Stayed a couple of nights. Good place for a short stop over No parking but there is a free public parking round the corner No food but there is a great store across the road that does take out breakfasts etc which you can eat in the pub

Everything about this hotel is amazing. Great location, beautiful rooms, and great owners.

Had a wonderful stay, met the owner, fabulous individual. Also, the BEST veggie breakfast I have ever had.
