"It’s a nice get away from down town. Yet it’s such a short drive there.
Staff took care of us.
If you don’t want to walk take a ride in their electric geo(it’s was fun! Staff that took us places were very nice!)
Few staffs I talked to they keep going back for seasonal work! They were so nice! "
"Newer property. Not the pic that’s shown here tho. Very nice inside. Easy check in. There is no staff. Nowhere to put clothes so everything stays in suitcase. Workers in big trucks parked on cement pad near stairs. We had to park in the gritty area most of the time making it hard to roll luggage on, then no doormats so tracked all grit inside. Nice decor. Big tv with electric fireplace. Nice kitchen with banquette seating. Pretty property but still undergoing construction "
"The name of the area is apropos as you should breeze past it and not stay here. Room was a hot box, in Alaska of all places. I mentioned it to the desk and was told they would move us if the heat was broken. When I stated the heat was off yet it was stifling, they said they were full and couldn’t move us. Clerk said we should open the windows on the first floor unit.
Returned for our second night and they didn’t clean the room. “What do you need?. They said they were short on help.
NEVER AGAIN should we ever return to Seward. They did offer to comp a breakfast."
"The rooms were clean and comfortable. Parking was nearby and free. The restaurant and coffee shop were both very good, with great service. The view and beach access were amazing! The TV remote wouldn't work correctly (maintenance was apparently gone for the day which was frustrating) and there was no water in either vending machine. They did let us have a late checkout and even stay a bit past that since we weren't back from fishing yet, so that made up for the minor issues."
