Lopesan Costa Bávaro Resort Spa & Casino - All Inclusive
10/10 Excellent
"Overall, we enjoyed our time at the Lopesan. Our room was deeply cleaned everyday, but had a bit of a mildew smell. The resort was well maintained and beautiful. There was so many amenities like the casino, water park, shows that you can’t get bored. The staff were helpful and kind. We just did not enjoy the food.
We ended up paying an extra $150 to access the adults only side of things. We also got 30 mins of hydrotherapy included, however part of my group was not treated well by the staff when they arrived. We did not feel like paying the extra $150 was worth it.
I would still recommend this hotel to anyone."
"Travelled solo, staff was great and welcoming, servers are always ready to receive you with a smile, so friendly.
The buffet was very nice, good variety."
"The price is great. One thing to keep in mind is that the beach was under a red flag the whole time, so no one was really getting in the water. You probably still can, but at your own risk. The pools are all only 4 ft deep, and the buffet food wasn’t the best. One good thing is that you don’t need reservations for any of the restaurants.
I went with friends, and we got asked for ID multiple times since they don’t use bracelets there — apparently we all have baby faces 😂. Overall, it’s a very family-friendly resort, perfect if you’re looking for something peaceful and comfortable. Also there are only 4 slides in the water park"

8/10 Good
"Staff is excellent, everyone will help you, from the bell boys to the cleaning personnel. Don't hesitate and ask. Luis at the Expedia counter was incredible, he promptly and efficiently helped us resolve an issue with our room and got us an upgrade."
"Fue un viaje en pareja en vísperas de mi cumpleaños lo pasamos súper bien las comidas tenían buena calidad y con variedades de alimentos, el personal muy amable lo que no me gustó fue que por la página la habitación que pedía era superior y al llegar a la misma era de pésima calidad tuve que pagar un monto extra para cambiarme a otra pero me encantó mi estancia."
"The resort itself is great. The Bach was fantastic along with all their pools. One massive downside was the food was not that great. The staff was decent. With how massive the resort it bound to have good and bad staff. Not as family oriented as it may seem. You will have people there that are there to party but again. Massive resort wasn’t a problem for us and our child but just be aware."
