"The Whiskey Hotel is a charming little hotel in the armpit of Hollywood. The hotel was beautiful and the staff very helpful. They have a nice little restaurant on the rooftop that we enjoyed. Getting a shot of whiskey at check in was a real plus. However, there was poor wine choices in the restaurant. If you want to see the sites in Hollywood, the location is walking distance to many of the tourist stops....and lots of homeless and filth along the way. Paid for valet parking....the valet does not come on shift until 10am."

"We were looking forward to rest and relax by the rooftop pool the second day of our stay, but there was a huge party that afternoon. (The hotel lets non-hotel guests use their pool. Had we known this, we would have stayed elsewhere.) They started setting up for the event in the morning and it was loud. We could hear it from our room. Definitely not the vibe we were hoping for. There wasn’t a coffee maker in our hotel room. It took over 30 minutes to get seated and order a coffee from the cafe on the first floor in the morning. Slow service and very expensive. The hotel is located on a dirty street littered with trash and it smells of urine."
