"I can’t even say enough great things about this hotel! I am crying in the airport because I don’t want to leave. Literally in tears. Angel at check in was the most professional sweetest attentive start to my fabulous experience with hotel colee! She complimented me every day she say me during my stay. The hotel staff was over the top, from the valet to Sister restaurant! Speaking of the restaurant onsite “Sister”…Ariel sho took care of us the first and last day of our stay while dining there, was outstanding! She remembered my name and my partner’s name throughout the stay. Her energy felt like family. I can’t compliment her enough and she truly made me feel so welcomed. The hotel is well maintained and such a hip esthetic. They even had a live violinist playing one day on the lobby. He was awe inspiring! The small touches like a pitcher of fruit infused water in the lobby to complimentary fruits there too and bottled water in the rooms throughout the stay, wow! The hotel smells lovely in the lobby, the rooms, the halls everything is clean and comfortable. The decor and art throughout the property is just perfect vibes. "I reserved and paid for a room with a balcony and also looked forward to being able to access State Farm through the Omni. Got to room and there was no balcony and also learned due to construction we could not enter State Farm through the hotel. Ended up getting soaking wet walking to concert. Also didn’t get to enjoy the air and view from balcony. Was told I would receive a credit that I never got. Very disappointed. "
"Before I get into the overwhelming negative experience of our stay at Hotel Indigo, I figured I would start with the positives. 1. The hotel is in one of the best locations in terms of walkability of the historic district and 2. I thought the room itself was decent.
NOW for the negatives and the main reasons I urge people to look elsewhere.
- Multiple times during our stay, the key cards just stopped working and we would have to go down to the front desk and have them fixed. I have never experienced that at a hotel, let alone more than once during a 4 night stay.
-The elevator is extremely slow. That wouldn't be the worst problem but combined with the issue of the key cards, its more than inconvenient. Want to take the stairs? That is only allowed on half of the stairs, not all of them. We were on the 3rd floor, towards the end of the hallway, farthest away from an elevator. There is a staircase on that end that is only marked "Stairwell". It is not locked. It does not say employees only. There is absolutely no indication that hotel guests cannot use those stairs. I took my children and I down those stairs, and apparently they lead out to the back area of the kitchen. We got yelled at by the kitchen staff and treated like we were dumb and didn't read the signs simply for going down the stairs
-I asked for sheets to be sent up for the pull out couch for the front desk lady to tell me I have to come get them myself. Remember you are charged a daily resort fee"
