Driving to this property was very scary. It was late and dark when we arrived and it’s very isolated there’s nothing around. There is very tall grass and shrubs everywhere and when we turned into the dirt pathway to the property there is also very tall grass and shrubs around. We were afraid that someone would come out of the grass and rob us. There were a lot of loose dogs barking and following us in our rental car as we looked for this property. It was like a ghost town we didn’t feel safe at all.
The lights were off on the property making it harder to find and it took some time getting the key out of the lock. It didn’t feel safe and we were all afraid that something could happen to us in the middle of no where. As soon as we parked we locked the gate and I noticed roaches and geckos in the front. Once inside we realized this property is infested with all types of insects/bugs!
There are ants, roaches, bed bugs, geckos, baby spiders on the bed, bugs on the bed. It was a nightmare! I checked each bed and some of the bugs would fly out from under the covers. We couldn’t sleep all night and couldn’t bring in our luggage. We were disappointed with Expedia because they told us we had to wait until the morning to be relocated.
First thing in the morning we left to a 4 star hotel. We felt very dirty leaving this property. We were extremely exhausted on our trip and never again will we rent a house.
