Wonderful boutique hotel less than a minute walk to the blue mosque and Hagia Sophia. The staff Hayreddin, umit and zohyu were fantastic guy’s and helped me with anything I needed as it was my first time in Istanbul. The ladies in the kitchen were so lovely and always asking if I needed anything else.I highly recommend this hotel

So many issues with this hotel—it just is not a great place to stay. The photos on the website do not reflect the reality of the rooms. Our room had low sloping ceilings, no light, and a heater unit that had black mold in it. They refused to put an extra lamp in the room. The bathroom was incredibly dark. The hotel staff had noted my request for two beds for my kids but failed to confirm this. I had communicated this request during the reservation process and through what’s app. I would not recommend this place to anyone who is allergic to mold

Saratoga Hotel went above and beyond to welcome us, welcoming us in and helping us navigate any and all questions— the staff is super friendly, professional, and personable and helped us book transport, invited us to a special cistern tour, and even helped us broker a new suitcase deal next door—- now that’s service! The room was clean and well-appointed, quiet and comfortable with a great shower. Breakfast is an impressive spread of tasty offerings and myriad coffee and tea options. The location is wildly great— it’s right off the plaza with the obelisks and the Hagia Sofia. Just wonderful! Highly recommend.

The Saratoga was a great find. Clean, modern room with air conditioner and elevator. Truly boutique. The staff led by Mohammed was very friendly and patient about helping us with the Turkish phrases we are trying to learn. The breakfast, for a small additional fee was perfect to get us going each day with a different side dish each morning. The location is easy walking distance to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Museum of Turkish and Islamic Arts, and the tram stop. Small very good restaurants are throughout the neighborhood. We can’t praise the staff enough - they really made us feel like family. We would stay again whenever we are in Istanbul.
