This is a unique hotel, decorated creatively in a Moroccan theme. Beautiful artwork in all the common areas and in our room. Take note that there are some interior rooms that have no windows. We opted to upgrade to a room with windows and a balcony, and it was quite spacious and comfortable. It didn’t cost that much to upgrade and it was well well worth it. On the roof, there are stone bathtubs that guests can fill with water and take in the views of the city while cooling off in the tubs. It seems to always be breezy up there and it’s a great escape from the heat. There are shady areas if you want to get out the sun or you can sunbathe there. It is quite unique and a treat in the day or evening. Close to all the Old San Juan historic sites and restaurants

This hotel is in a great location close to restaurants, shopping, and the sights of San Juan. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. It’s a beautiful hotel with a cool Moroccan theme. The rooftop terrace was really nice. The room was clean, quaint and cozy. I would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely loved this hotel. We had a two bedroom room and it was simply exotic and beautiful. It’s in a great location- walk to the Ferry and Churches, Fort and Museum.
Door connecting to other room. Bathroom in between the two rooms.

Stayed in a standard room, it was small but doable and AC was cold, except it was really unclean. The hotel needs a major revamp, including things like the towels and sheets which had stains and holes in the towels. Only pro is location and rooftop. If you are desperate to find a place to stay in old town that’s affordable and don’t mind the dirtiness, this is the place for you.

This property is not well maintained at all. The staff however, are amazing! The hot water heater for the shower failed multiple times during our stay and required several trips to the front desk to reset breakers. The bathroom fixtures are poorly installed and the water pressure is very low. These are known issues to the general manager and owner - and yet they persist without addressing them. Great location! This hotel could be so awesome if the owner and general manager fixed these issues. At $250/night you shouldn’t have to deal with these kind of problems. Hotel management is nonexistent

Very suitable for our one night stay, lovely/original artistic flair to the decor playing off the Casablanca theme throughout lobby area and in the rooms; excellent staff, both friendly and attentive; the rooftop lounge areas are a big plus. Excellent location. Only caveat: Reservation/ information provided at check-in should be clearer that many rooms HAVE NO WINDOW whatsoever which is a big minus. If this is a problem for you, make sure to ask!

Views from the rooftop was amazing. Loved the two rooftop areas for having a relaxing conversation over a glass of wine and nice breeze after a day of exploring the fort and town, Beds are so comfortable. Staff friendly and knowlegable. Wonderful air-conditioning and loved the small balcony. Quiet rooms which in Old San Juan is amazing. If given the opportunity, I would definitely stay here again.
