This is a beautiful city if viewed from river, the skyline is very colorful and photogenic. The bridge changing color as well as many buildings lit up and some changing color make for great photos. For the most part the city is cleaner than most.

City is growing to be world-class! Love that the urban planning feels more thought out, with beautiful large riverfront parks. Traffic and smog/pollution is problematic. Crossing the street is dangerous in most areas, but some safer intersections.

The city is much nicer than I expected. People are extremely friendly. Take a tour of the tunnels, you will be shocked/amazed at what you will see. Also, the war museum downtown if worth a visit. Just visit when cooler in November - February.

Charming city with interesting shops and markets. Traffic is a little horrendous with cars and motorbikes. Crossing roads can feel a little hazardous. Best to leave fear behind and cross the road slowly so that motorbikes can veer around you.

Ho Chi Minh City is a vibrant and bustling place, known for its incredibly affordable and delicious food. However, the city is also packed with people and motorbikes, and the traffic rules are quite different from global standards.

Very busy hectic city will take a bit of getting used to if you're not from a big city. After a couple of days there I found myself wanting to stay longer. You can eat and drink for as little as $10 a day

Really enjoyed our time in the City. Ho Chi Minh City has a slightly less frenetic feel than Hanoi (only slightly), and less people speak English, but it's never a problem. Would recommend a visit.

A great destination and jumping off point for a Vietnam vacation. Avoid during the Lunar New Year, as everything is closed for a couple of weeks. And that goes for all of Vietnam.

"Our stay was totally unexpected in a tood way.. The staff were amazing, so helpful and polite, nothing was too much trouble.. Our room had a balcony shower which i was concerned about, then realised it's totally private and went with it. The pool is the perfect temperature too. Breakfast was good.. heaps of options, well presented and tasty. Definitely would stay here again."
"The Hotel staff are quite friendly and helpful. The hotel is centrally located and convenient to most scenic spots and shopping.
It is a great hotel that I highly recommend to other travelers, and I will come back to stay for my next visit to Saigon, Vietnam."
"From the moment of arrival to the last of our stay the service and amenity were nothing but outstanding!!
Every member of the staff team went out of their way to meet our every need, and more!! Nhu, Chi & Tu at the Rooftop Garden bar, Linh at the wellness centre all deserve a special mention. The bed and pillows were like sleeping on a cloud.
They even arranged a surprise birthday cake for my partner! We will certainly return to The Rex!!!"
"I’ve stayed in many hotels and have never received better service than from the staff at Mai House. They have become My Home away from home and the only place I will stay in Ho Chi Minh City. And if you need a venue for a special event, they knocked that out of the park for me and my bride’s wedding. "
"I have returned this hotels many times. It is one of the best places to stay in saigon. Professional and friendly staffs. It is 5 star luxury hotel. "
