I highly recommend a stay at the Aquarius Resort. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The spa studio was modern, spacious, clean and well-maintained. It had everything for a stress-free, relaxing getaway including a great view of the beach from the balcony, lounge and dining areas. The huge spa bath was a wonderful way to unwind after a long day before snuggling in for a quiet sleep in the very comfortable bed. I was so impressed I've already booked my next stay.

We checked in after hours. Someone left the patio door open - the place was full of bugs. We spent the first 30 minutes killing hundreds of mosquitos and other bugs. For what we spent, the value for money is quite poor

I went with 94 year old mother. No Coffee or Tea in the rooms. We went for 2 nights - used the two spare towels as no housekeeping services. They need a nespresso coffee machine in the room - and housekeeping if they are going to charge $300 a night.

Clean tidy modern apart from bathrooms which are dated. Doors difficult to open. Replacement with screens would help and may limit sand coming into the bed. Although thats hard to avoid.

When we arrived we were advised that there was not heating or air conditioning due to renovations. Had I have known this I would have booked elsewhere. It was a very cold evening and when we went to go to bed we had only one blanket in our room for three people. We did not sleep due to being so cold. The blankets we got from reception next morning were not clean with stains and marks all over them. There were signs everywhere saying you can't do this and you can't do that, and that you had to preclean your room before leaving however the mop and vaccum that were in the room were both broken and were not usable. You get a letter a sign in saying if you don't clean you will be charged extra, if you call reception out of hours you will be charged, hence why we didn't call for blankets. The cleaning was not up to scratch, under the bed was dirty, the bedside lamps were dirty, the bath tub was dirty. I was to scared to do anything fun with all the rules around the place and warnings about being charged extra. It was like the fun police were on duty. We did not enjoy our stay.

Great location, great views, Michael the manager was friendly & very helpful. The only downfall was the lack of cleanliness, dust & dirt under all the beds, dust & cobwebs behind the entrance door, bed legs broken on the queen bed. Had a ironing board but no iron nor hairdryer.
