6/10 Good

Resort looked tired… several maintenance issues such as A/C in room not functioning, pool lights cable tired or loose in pool, several tiles of pool missing, balcony railing of room loose/wood rotten.

We spend wonderful, relaxing and quiet days in this very nice resort - our cosy little hous was directly at the beach with a stunning view. All staff was very accomodating, supportive and cheerful - we will ever be back again if we get the chance!

Super relaxing as adult only island. We felt like we had the whole island to ourselves. Beautiful location and crystal clear waters.

A really peaceful and great experience! We had a really relaxing time despite being there during the tropical storm. The staff were all so nice and attentive. The food was decent, maybe a bit overpriced for what we get but still good!

Beautiful view, nice and quiet, not much to do so 5 nights was maybe too long. Meals were a bit over priced i thought. Would've been good to have a toaster in room to be able to at least make own breakfast.

Great room with a view plus naughty cockatoos to add lively interest. Delightful staff, beautiful environment and tranquility reigns.

Amazing location and beautiful bungalows overlooking pristine beach and bay. 5 day stay and loved it… so relaxing and part of nature. Only thing to change… music playlists as after a day they repeat (although staff happy to change at my request- thanks Tommy and Chase).
Very friendly cockatoos, love nuts!

6/10 Good

Very relaxing but if staying for more than two days a large tv in the restaurant would be good for sports fans. Cocktails were short sheeted by a few liquor ingredients.

8/10 Very good

Restaurant food and staff were excellent. Equipment could be updated. Bungalows are very comfortable although 1 bed is more a studio. Beautiful location and great overall experience.

If need to just rest & take your loved one away for the weekend or a few days. Do yourself a favour book this place & catch a well deserved break. If swimming , walking, working on ur tan & catching up on sleep is your thing then look no further for a perfect island retreat. Staff were very friendly & helpful. My wife needed a good rest & she loved it. It’s Quite, food is good & reasonably priced & very low key. Would definitely return here for a relaxing break! Cheers Michael Nov 2023
Michael, 3-night trip

8/10 Very good

Quiet, small, unique resort. Food excellent and quite reasonably priced. Staff really pleasant and attentive. Resort looking a little tired in places. The cost of transport to and from the island can become quite expensive if you want to leave the island for a day trip. Beware also if you’re travelling in from the airport on a shuttle bus. Our flight was late and we nearly missed the last boat connection of the day, very stressful. My advice is stay at Airlie Beach first and do trips to the reef, scenic flights etc from there then travel and stay on the island without leaving for a few days. Also if you’re looking for a party this place is definitely not for you. Everything closed at 9/9.15, this wasn’t an issue for us but for others it could be. Pool area relaxing. Seeing the wallabies and yellow crested cockatoos roaming free was lovely.

I had a wonderful stay at Palm Beach resort. It is a beautiful location. I had a beach villa and it was clean and had a really comfy bed and a hammock on the deck. The staff were really friendly, helpful and welcoming and the food in the restaurant for dinner was great - the steak was fabulous and I had a special fish risotto which was lovely. The resort seemed slightly understaffed and so the beach sunset bar was not open in the evening but it was a mere 2 minutes walk to the main bar which was no hardship. A truly lovely and relaxing stay with no tvs and no children. All my stress disappeared. Good for the soul! Breakfast, lunch and dinner had to be paid for but you rarely needed all three. There was sea kayacking and a lovely swing by the sea. You can walk on the island on the trails but you do need footwear (not thong/jandles/flipflops) for that. If you are after a relaxing trip, this is the place for you and the pool was nice. A tip - You can get a transfer from Hamilton Island directly but it is much cheaper to get a boat to and from Shute Harbour as a different option if you fly into Proserpine. If you are looking for tons of activities this is not for you, if you are looking for a beautiful and simple place to relax, this is it.
