Stayed in an ocean front villa and the experience was 4/5. The room was nice but living room a/c didnt work and it wasnt fully resolved throughout the stay. They offered another room but we declined. The shower drain needed unclogging on day 1, and it left an unpleasant scent in the room for the rest of the stay. The butler (Alex) was very nice and the staff was mostly friendly. The food options sufficed for the week stay and the room service breakfast was good. The plunge pool was great to rinse off in, and the room is more spacious than the pics imply. We would return despite the inconveniences. The villa is outside of a clean beach with marked swim points close by. The beach is very shallow and the villa blocks out a lot of noise well

We had a villa oceanfront room. It was beautiful 😍 my husband and I had a great time. Jessica was our butler and she did an amazing job making reservations and cabanas. The staff at the bars and restaurants were so good.

VIP Experience Did Not Match What Was Advertised We booked the VIP package through Expedia, and unfortunately the stay did not meet the standards we expected. The resort itself is pleasant and our upgraded room was nice, but the level of service, especially the assigned VIP butler, was far below what was advertised. Our butler, Yajahira, contacted us several times the first night for minor things, but on the day of our hibachi reservation (when she told us she would walk us there), she did not call or follow up at all. She later claimed she was “waiting at the photo station,” which we had never been shown. Because of this miscommunication, we had to ask staff around the property for directions, arrived a few minutes late, and our seats were given away. When we explained the situation, her response was simply, “It’s not my fault.” We did not meet her in person until that moment, which is not the level of service expected with a VIP booking. Additional issues affected our stay: • A constant sewer smell in the bathroom • Cross-contamination at the breakfast buffet with shared spoons • Very limited snack bar options if you don’t eat beef • The 20% spa discount we were told we had did not apply at checkout • Massage therapist noticed a reaction to the scrub and removed it silently before telling us Overall, the resort has potential, but the VIP experience, communication, and service quality did not match what was promised when booking through Expedia VIP. Really nice room. Staff were 50/50 excellent vs not good. Check in was a mess, VIP benefits - I was told one thing but then another. Thought we had reserved seats on the beach / pool and either couldn’t find them or told we were in the wrong area, no one pointed us to the right area. Just a lot of confusion made for a bit of a bummer of our short stay. Wasn’t very relaxing.

My wife and I booked the beachfront room on the adult only side for 7 nights from Oct 17-24.We LOVED everything about the resort.We had a special check-in area that was very quick. We were shown around the property while our room was being prepared (we were early). Our room was just like the photos. 2 balconies with a perfect ocean view. We really enjoyed the bed facing out towards the ocean. We would watch the sunrise from bed.The bathroom was large with a jetted tub. Everything was very clean, the room, the grounds, the restaurants. We were given a concierge, who booked our reservations for dinner, private covered beach beds, and the spa. The staff was great and always happy to see us. We made sure to tip a couple $ for our drinks and 5-10 $ after every meal. The grounds crew were constantly working to keep them spotless and well manicured. The beach was beautiful. I think seaweed season is over in October, so there was just a little amount everyday.They combed the beach every morning with a tractor.The food was wonderful! Even the buffet had a variety everyday with a made to order station for every meal. We loved having breakfast at the Mexican restaurant. Koi was our favorite.We went there 2 nights plus our concierge was able to get us at the hibachi table a third night. We do recommend doing the time share presentation right away,just so you don't get asked everyday. Be honest and tell them no if not interested. Overall WONDERFUL!
