"Pools were amazing, buffets and other restaurants were extraordinary. Our family size room was exactly what we needed for 6 people. Beach was clean, but busy with vendors, and mexican bands fighting for attention. The kids favourite part was the hourly Riu activities and the foam pool party! Overall very relaxing and enjoyable vacation and we cant wait to return!"

"Hotel is located near Mazatlan letters, just cross the street and you also have beach access. My husband and I enjoyed our stay at this hotel for 1 full week of February in Carnaval Mazatlan 2026. It was the best hotel choice we made and will be back to Varali. Rooftop pool was amazing and sunrise and sunset views from the pool were priceless. Hotel room was clean and comfortable bed, everything inside room worked fine. Staff was very friendly and helpful with any questions we had."

"This property is old but clean. It is quite quaint and lovely. The front desk staff were very nice. The bartender Luis was amazing! Wonderful, friendly man and best margaritas and Pina Coladas we have had in Mazatlan. The only downside for us was the lack of an elevator and it is very loud at night as it is on the Malecón. We would stay here again! The location is wonderful! Close to everything! The views from the patio are also incredible!"

"Location was good and safe. Not many shops around you need to get Uber or taxi to go to the shops or boardwalk. But it’s only a couple minutes away not to far. However the hotel had the most beautiful ocean/sunset views. It had its own private beach and the swimming pool overlooking the ocean. Service was great, all staff very friendly. Rooms were spacious and very clean!! We stayed in a Ocean view room with a kitchenette. Totally recommend!!!!"

"Small little hotel not too far to walk to the Malecon. Nice clean room with comfortable beds and good AC, big warm shower and a TV with lots of channels. We stayed on Easter Eve and there was a huge party on the Malecon for miles! The streets were filled with cars blasting music. These cars came by the room all night but we still got a great night's sleep. There wasn't a rooftop area as described and some kind of construction on the top floor was happening. We didn't eat downstairs but it looked nice. We had beers in the bar, super cheap served by a friendly waiter. There was some garbage smell outside in that area but the streets were clean and people were even sweeping in the morning. Overall it was a nice place for the price."
