"It’s a great hotel but there’s a horrid smell of sewage outside to the right of hotel and that could be smelt in our bathroom, especially in the night / early morning. No milk, no shower gel supplied, yes I should have gone down to reception but couldn’t be arsed! Also if booking through hotel.com - requests don’t go through eg, we asked for a quiet room away from lifts, then was given a room opposite the lift door! They did sort it, but shouldn’t have happened really. Positives - great location? Great Sky Bar "

"Sound proofed rooms, clean, power shower lovely & hot, cosy and relaxing plus hotel cafe open 24/7 Only downside is someone knocked on my door at 9am to clean when check out is actually 11am!! "

"A stylish and spotless hotel in a fab London City location. We stayed for 4 nights up-graded to a premium double with kitchen. The room was huge and spotlessly clean. It overlooked the Tower of London and had a huge comfortable bed. Sound proofing was very good so we slept well. The hotel is so well located for access to transport links. The DLR is literally across the road and Tower Hill Tube round the corner. It’s also 5 minutes walk down to the river for river boats. "

"Air conditioning was poor. It stopped from time to time by itself, causing the room to be very hot for sleep at night. There is no ventilation in the bathroom or the main room, causing the smell in the room very stiff and stale. No cellphone signal in the room, barely in the lobby either. Free internet is very slow, as they ask for additional payment for faster internet. Staff was helpful when coordinating breakfast issues."

"This hotel is small and charming. Rooms are clean and well maintained. The staff is very friendly - they even left books, treats, and activity games in our room for our child. Close to the tube and main attractions. I hope to be back."
