"Location was excellent. Near major shops like Macy’s, local grocery, eating establishments big and small. Subway and bus were within walking distance getting you around Manhattan. Room was clean and had a small kitchen, which we didn’t really use. We had our own bathroom, which is nice and convenient. All in all room was great. The street noise on Friday was a bit loud, but if you have earplugs or a noise machine it isn’t bad. "

"We enjoyed our stay at Empire Hotel…Hailey and Adrik were extremely helpful the first night. After that, the front desk staff changed and they seemed rather glum and refused to answer the phone in the late evenings. The rooftop bar was a nice addition to our stay. "LOCATION. LOCATION. LOCATION!!!!! I interacted with reception I believe 3 to 4 times and it was very robotic, except for only one experience. Being across from Central Park was a game changer and ultimate New York experience. I read reviews about the elevators and it’s true, for whatever reason they just seem to be very slow, especially in the mornings before 10 AM. We had the AC unit in the room at 68 or 70 and it just never got cold but we were never uncomfortable, but we weren’t as comfortable as we could’ve been. Overall, it was a 4.5 out of five stars."
