"I have booked a weekend away for our nephew as he just completed his exams.
Unfortunately I have booked the wrong date, non refundable room, however their manager ( i do apologise, i cannot recall her name ) kindly moved our reservation for the right date, so for that I am really grateful.
We had a nice stay, beautiful location, beautiful sea side view, quiet and spacious room, big enough for the 5 of us.
The b&b is quite dated in places.
The only negative I will have is the fact that we couldn't keep our window open, however that didn't affect our stay at all. Good value for money.
I will definitely stay again if we visit the area again."
"The room was clean, and the staff are great. Few little issues, but nothing major, we had some issues with the shower being a bit temperamental, sometimes it would come on, other times it wouldn't come on at all, and the temperature took some working out as well.
The room had a nice fridge, and decent sized TV on the wall, which worked well.
The building seems to only have 1 lift that covers a range of floor, so there is often a queue for the lift, which is fine, its healthy to take the stairs.
Parking is a problem, the carpark is not big enough for the number of guess. there was a lot of double parked cars, blocking in other vehicles.
The food at breakfast was slow to replenish but was decent, and the staff were very polite and friendly.
In some areas it feels like the hotel is stuck in the 80s but in others it feels like it is modern.
The hotel is dog friendly, and no issues with you having pets in the room, and around the building.
I enjoyed the stay, did everything I needed."
"From the moment we arrived we received a warm welcome from reception staff. The room was lovely, very comfortable and clean with a great sea view. The dining experience in their Coast Restaurant was also very good with attentive, friendly waiting staff and excellent food. A really great break away and beautifully positioned on the sea front, will definitely return!"
"Great stop over before Channel tunnel. Tea and coffee provided for early start. Friendly staff. Street parking after 8 is easy. I think metered until 6. Not sure about business hours. Pet friendly and very convenient for access to tunnel in early mo ning"
"I want to say thank you for making my trip to Folkestone so fun incredible. If I could give a 10 star I would. The staff is so personable, helpful and accommodating. The food is top notch. Our room overlooked the Leas and provided the perfect sea view. I can’t recommend this hotel enough."
"We enjoyed our stay, breakfast was good, with a variety of choices.
The room was clean and tidy.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
Didn't use the bar so cannot comment on that"

"Room cleaned but had very old smell. Construction sound outside (they can't help it but just be aware) I plugged in my laptop and it blew the fuse in the room.
Parking is pricy as is the restaurant but still nice to have. Staff, fantastic - no notes."
"Only an overnight stop on way to Dover ferry (30 min drive). Everything was very clean and large comfortably bed and bedroom overlooking the beach. Some parts of the hotel could do with a little upgrade but that didn't put me off. Staff was very polite, efficient and professional. The bar was very up to date other than it closed at 1030. That said, I'm glad as I was up at 5am. Great location, especially if you would like a walk along the esplanade/promenade which I read was over 2 miles long. Will use again if I have an early ferry."
