"We stay here when in Yeovil visiting relatives. The Hotel is dated, and a little 'tired' . However there is always a war., cheerful welcome. The rooms are large and windows can be opened which is a big bonus in my view. We made the mistake of trying a different hotel once. Never again. The manor suits our needs and budget. "

"Decent size room with lift, lovely swimming pool with jacuzzi and sauna and a nice garden. Walking distance to the seafront and 5 minutes drive to supermarkets. Staff there were fantastic. Breakfast and dinner were enjoyable. We had a wonderful stay there. Thank You!"

"A lovely old hotel in a convenient position. Very friendly and helpful staff. The room and en-suite were very clean. A good selection of tea etc. Very nice having single rooms. I will definitely stay there again."

"Clean room. The pool can be booked for swimming or family sessions, unusual setup but works well. Staff friendly and helpful. Stayed here several times but only this time did I realise the motorway was so close, as it was light when I was leaving. The soundproofing is very good in the hotel."

"I was not impressed with my stay despite Ethan, the only employee available, doing a stalwart job to help us. There was a problem with heating, water leaks, cold shower, no one to prepare breakfast "

"The room was not as I expected it. It was on the second floor of what looked to be an out building. There were a few things we were not happy with eg the kettle had to be plugged in on the flour by the bed ( lead too short) but the worst was the shower. It ran cold. We told the reception and they just said they knew and had passed it on to maintenance before but had done nothing about it. Not even an apology. We had not ordered breakfast at the time of booking thinking we could add it later as it was only £15 extra but when we arrived it was double that to add it. So we waited until breakfast to decide. In the morning at breakfast when we saw what was on offer it was so bad we left again without bothering. Instead we paid the same price in the swan hotel as a walk in- which was a magnificent breakfast. "

"Restaurant food was very nice and good value. Breakfast was excellent the hit options were all freshly cooked and good quality. The continental options were also good quality and varied. The room was a little tired and some or the corridor areas could do with a freshening up. All told a very nice overnight stay and will stay again when in the area. Thank you to the restaurant staff who were all very friendly and looked after their guests."
