"Honestly, a very meh stay. The staff overall was just there - not engaging - not remarkable - just present. The same can be said for F&B selections and the hotel overall. Just meh. Nothing to write home about in any way.
The valet team was a standout, but in a horrific way. Aside from being remarkably inefficient and lackadaisical, they were extremely rude. To the point that I had to complain to the front desk and was in fear that my automobile would be damaged intentionally because the valet team was so aggressive with me at check in. My guest and I were in complete and utter shock.
I’d choose other options if staying in Memphis, honestly."
"The Cambria hotel is definitely on my top 10 list of hotels. I am extremely picky usually about the location, the food, the bar staff the cleanliness, but let me tell you they hit it out of the ballpark!
Kevin at the bar deserves a shout out. I’m pretty sure he was the manager, but he was amazing with the music and all of the guest and made each one feel special. We will definitely be back basically just to stay there at the Cambria in Nashville and enjoy the experience if we didn’t leave the hotel with the rooftop bar and the pool and the music we would’ve still had a wonderful time.."
Comfort Inn Downtown Nashville - Music City Center
2/10 Terrible
"The door barely closed and had holes so bugs could get in. Had a bug in my bed when waking up this morning. Friend left her Apple Watch on accident and did find my and it was there yet “no one could find it there” so obviously someone stole that. Was kind of gross and dirty. Wouldn’t stay again."
The Park Vista - a DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel - Gatlinburg
4/10 Poor
"As soon as I checked in they made me pay $100 for “incidentals.” Said it would be refunded after my stay. On top of that they charge $18 a day to park your car in the parking lot of the place you pay almost $300 a night to stay in. Rip off. Place is also old and dingy. They advertise an adult pool but there isn’t one. They also make you buy their drinks at the pool at rip off prices. $10 for a can of beer? Way better places in Gatlinburg to stay that are cheaper, and don’t take $100 of your spending money upon arrival."
