APA Hotel Hakata Ekimae 3chome
10/10 Excellent
"The hotel
Was close to Hakata Main station and accessible, the shrine is very close by and inner city, 7 Eleven right around the corner, bus ride away from Uniqlo😃, very clean hotel, 2 people in a small room, all we did was sleep after days of long walks."
"Room was small, as is typical in Japan. Not a lot place to put luggage and purchases for three people. No dresser to put clothes in, and nowhere to hang used towels. Excellent location, easy walk to Hakata station."
"This was a very convenient hotel. Located right across the train station. Lots of dining and shopping options. Hotel rooms were clean but carpet needs to be changed. Lots of stains. The hotel is currently undergoing renovations so hopefully, it will be refreshed soon. Staff is very helpful."
"The only little negative thought is about congested breakfast area. I had one morning where end up waiting 30 min in a queue. Otherwise, location is perfect next to Hakata station if you choose Fukuoka as your base city and do day trips to the other Kyushu areas. Enjoyed my stay."
"Our stay was comfortable after long tours. The staff are all amazing.
Shiori was extremely helpful, above and beyond. My husband forgot his hiking boots when we checked out. We contacted the hotel, and they responded immediately. They had the shoes mailed to our hotel in Tokyo, and even sent a message and stamped booklet with the shoes."
"Bon emplacement et hôtel tranquille. Le seul point négatif est que nous n’avons pas trouvé le lit et les oreilles confortables, ils étaient trop durs."
"The receptionist was very professional, however the hotel is not that good, the breakfast was very disappointing and wasn’t made for tourists. There is no choice like the other hotel with breakfast buffet. I only ate the bowl of rice.
For sleeping only I recommend but do not take the breakfast."
"I think the location was very good since it’s right across the street from Hakata station, however, there were many tourists (many were so rude & no manners) . Amenities were very minimum (toothbrush, shaver & comb only-no cotton pads/cotton swabs/body brush towels) . No microwave to use (or I might not be able to find?). Room was outdated.
Anyway, probably I won’t use this hotel in the future even hotel staffs were nice."
