"This was our second stay at the Rambler. Friendly staff, very clean facility, quiet and such a comfortable place to stay whether it’s overnight or longer. Very close to the highway, eateries, and the trolley station. Definitely will stay here again on our next visit to San Diego. "

"Have stayed several times. Has what we need at a good price. Beds are comfortable, rooms spacious, microwave and fridge work. Places to eat in easy walking distance. We always shop at the little Mexican grocery store kitty corner across the street, as they have lots of ready to eat meals in the deli. Easy parking at the hotel. "

"If you need a place to crash on short notice then this place will suffice. The room was for the most part clean. They do have cockroaches, saw one in my room. No soap for the shower. Parking was fine and the staff was thorough. Only saw one homeless guy digging in the trash in front of my window. Location is good and near the freeway and restaurants. Overall, if I couldn’t find a place then this would suffice."

"It is conveniently located next to 805. If one is a light sleeper, ask for a room on the other side from the freeway. I was fine but some others might notice the freeway sound. There is a Circle K right across the street for filling rental cars before heading to the airport. It is only about 20 min from Gas lamp area downtown. Generous breakfast. I would stay here again"
