"Amazing luxury hotel in the best possible location south of Pontocho and across the bridge from Gion. A huge room with a terrace and a sparkling large bathroom with a shower, wooden tub, and river views. Fridge stocked with beer and soft drinks and a washer-dryer for longer stays. None of this comes cheap but go and enjoy."

"Hotel is located at a small alley leading out to the main busy street of kawamarachi and near to Nishiki market. A short bus ride to Gion Rooms are clean but rather warm. Can’t seem be adjust the air conditioning prob due to winter auto heat. Breakfast semi buffet spread is good. The hotel is next to a shrine/cemetry. "

"Such a beautiful hotel! The Kyoto x Paris theme is playful and fun. We were catered to from the moment we arrived. All the treats in our room, including a special blend of tea & keepsake tote bag were very generous. The room was spacious with a luxurious bath & comfortable beds. The location is great for walking to temples, shopping, etc. Definitely worth a stay to make your trip memorable!"

"Small but spotless room on the 4th floor, the bathroom was beautifully decorated and new. Staff were approachable and friendly, allowed me to leave my baggage there before checking in later that afternoon. Great location, 6 minutes walk from the buzzing Kawaramachi street. 10minutes walk from Shijo station but easy enough connection to Kyoto station."
