"Property is beautiful, so many things to do. Service is great food and drinks also great. Is a green facility on a preserved area. My only concern is that from all 20 pools that the facility has no one is climatized or heated. Depending on the time of the year of your visit especially if traveling with small children this might be a n issue. I believe that for the 5star hotel category at least they should provide this service in one or two of the pools to have options. Another downside is even though they have more than 20 restaurants including 2 buffets some of them for dinner required reservations. When we arrived a lot of the reservations were taken. You have to make those in advance prior arrival. "

"This hotel was probably the best place I have ever stayed at. The property was immaculate, there were so many members of staff ensuring everyone there had an amazing stay. Our room was cleaned and restocked twice a day with fresh water and snacks. The hotel itself is massive but feels boutique in a way due to how it’s split by casa’s with individual roof top pools and lobbies. The main pool and restaurant areas are so clean and beautifully designed. Everything was so thought out from someone coming round to clean sunglasses by the pool to refillable water bottles that can be filled up on site and around the parks. The restaurants were all wonderful, Arenal was our favourite for dinner but Mercado the Mexican buffet offered everything and more that you could ask for and this was our go to spot for breakfast. Any restaurant you go to will be a great experience. The transport to and from the parks is smooth and organised. We did a textile workshop one lunch time and it was lovely, the little bag they give you to bring your creation home is just as good as what you make! We stayed 10 nights and did 6 different parks/tours with still more we could have done. We were honestly so sad to leave and would recommend this place to anyone thinking about it. "

"All in all very good hotel. Staff very respectful. Food perfect. Pools were all good. Make sure to find and reserve pool seats first thing in the morning otherwise you may not find the spot near your room building. "

"Property is very clean, lots of food however there's no lunch buffet. If you are planning to party, be advised that you can not get an alcohol drink until 11:00 a.m. and later (yes no bloody mary with breakfast). The staff is somewhat friendly (used to the tourist trap). Don't use the ATM in the lobby, it says it charges $7 per transaction but we got charged over $14. Resort is average."

"Staff was friendly. Room is renovated but poor renovation finishes. Buffet food had lots of options but food was okay. Bars had premium alcohol. Restaurants that needed reservations were beautifully renovated. Food was okay. Beach had seafood. Pool was nice. Property was big, was getting at least 10000 steps daily. "

"We had so much at the RIU. Staff was amazing and PERFECT blend of big and small resort for our 11-17 year olds. Great food options, no wait time or reservations needed for the restaurants Just great overall! One watch out...we booked a two room suite. I envisioned just that, but we ended up getting two regular rooms that were attached vs. a true "suite". Not ideal, but not a huge deal for us, but something to be aware of. "

"This property was a hidden little gem. We are two females that went here solo for 5 days and we felt safe and had a blast. The snorkeling off the private beach near the water was amazing. The property has gear for you to use for free. You have to make sure you bring it back before a certain time. Staff were all friendly. Food at the beach was great. The night shows were fun and we had a blast. Taxis everywhere so getting out and about was easy. There are vehicles at the property you can rent, super bonus! Now let’s talk about the cons, room service is apart of the all inclusive BUT they will charge you $7 for delivery. Beach bar closed early, pool bar was open until 10pm. I lost my room key and they will make you pay $6 for a piece of plastic. I believe the towel keys are more expensive so thankfully I didn’t do that. The curtains are not black out BUT we did notice storm covers so we closed them and it fixed our problem. Overall it was great. We plan on coming back for another stay. Everyone including the guests at the resort were nice and from all walks of life. Thank you for making this our first best friend trip memorable. Until next time.💜"
