"A peaceful hotel owned by the sweetest family. Our room had a private balcony and gorgeous views of the sea. The property is approx 200 meters outside the small village with a private beach but the owners will pick you up at the ferry or at the exit from the Samaria gorge if you coordinate ahead of time. "This property is gorgeous and off the beaten track along a winding mountain road in a village with approx 25 inhabitants-so very good for an escape. Made up of traditional villas with comfy beds and shared pool. Easily drivable to beaches in abt 30 mins"

"A lovely hotel right in the centre of Chania’s old town. We had a really nice stay and fantastic breakfasts throughout the trip. Note that I have a lot of allergies and they were catered for. So thank you very much. The only thing was that our room had one window which looked out onto the courtyard. Meaning if you had the blind open you didn’t get any privacy. I’d suggest a netted curtain here so that you can have both privacy and daylight. Otherwise a lovely trip with very accommodating staff."
