"We spent end of December through the New Year in Paris. Hotel was excellent for family and location was perfect for family travelers exploring Paris. Close to Metro and great local area and many shops and restaurants in walking distance. Rooms are a bit small but perfect for family that spends most of their time exploring the city and only needing the hotel room to sleep. Staff is extremely friendly and are willing to speak French if you would like but are fluent in English. I did not comment on the breakfast as we did not eat at the hotel but it was highly recommended by others."

"Our stay was seamless and perfect from start to finish. We were warmly welcomed on arrival and allowed to leave our bags in the storage room while we explored the city and our room was readied. If you are North American, be prepared that the rooms are smaller, and the elevator will only hold 2 people (without luggage), but this didn't take away from the perfection of this hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. Cleaning staff were diligent and meticulous. The bathroom was exquisite and luxurious. Beds were comfortable and temperature was warm. Our family of four lived in the room for a week without issue. We were close to many subway stations, which made getting around the city simple and easy. This hotel is located just outside of the tourist areas, which we enjoy. Lots of bars, cafes, markets, and boulangeries on the block. Would definitely recommend Hotel Du Plat d'Etain to anyone visiting Paris"
