Hotels in Downtown Palm Springs

"The rooms and the pool area are nice. However the area is not safe and we would not stay again. Lots of druggies and unhoused acting out in the lot next door and the store across the street."

"The WiFi was only strong in conference area and hard to use cells to make calls. Fabulous location though and amazing price point for everything the hotel offers. Loved the security using the keys for the elevator and would stay there again in a minute "

"Outdated rooms! Not sure if that’s the vibe, but bathroom outdated, you can actually see the calcium buildup on shower head and faucets. Don’t like that you have to wait in line for pool access and they only let you in after 9 and then they do a pool “break” in the middle of the day, where everyone has to go out of the pool! Not sure what’s that for! Been to many Palm Springs hotels and we were perfectly fine without the pool break! 🙄 Lazy river closes at 6 🙄."

"Good value, great views. A bit noisy with windows facing the pool, family friendly. Microwave on 1st floor and restaurant onsite was nice. Very friendly staff. Grocery and fast food walkable including a soccer park behind. Two large jacuzzis very nice."

"Public pool meets Six Flags Hurricane Harbor vibes. This hotel stay was a disappointment to say the least. We checked in on a Monday, and walked into what I would describe as total chaos —long lines, screaming children everywhere, no available chairs poolside. The small pools and lazy river were all so packed that I felt it was unsafe for young children. At one point a child pooped in the lazy river and they had to close the pool! GROSS! We paid $700 a night for a double room, plus another $100 a night for resort fees and parking for what felt like a Holiday Inn. The food was terrible and overpriced, and they weren’t serving off the menu for breakfast. There was a line down the hall to get seated for the buffet, which had very limited breakfast options. The hotel staff, including one of the managers, weren’t friendly —with the exception of two friendly servers. One server told us a horrifying story about how she works 18 hours during the busy season, and the hotel will fire servers if someone doesn’t pay their bill. Days later, this same server never brought us a bill or cleared our dirty plates after over an hour of waiting. Our room had ripped sheets, menstrual blood on the top of the toilet, and stained carpets. The hotel lacked style, but that’s to be expected with a big, Hyatt resort like this one. What bothered me most of all was the poor condition of the pool area —chipping paint and worn patio furniture. My advice? Never book this hotel Friday-Monday!"

"Everything was fabulous "

"The room was filthy. It was as if someone had just left it. Stains all over the carpet, stains all over the curtains. The TV had so many issues, I do not even know where to begin. Big problem they had was towels, they ask you to return your towels to get new ones. Every single time I went to get new towels. There was none. The only time I got some was by waiting 30 minutes. Funny thing is, they only gave me 2 for my family of 5. The breakfast they have is terrible. My first day there ordered sausage and eggs. The eggs were so disgusting, didnt even touch them after the first bite. I was in the army, and not even the army eggs in basic training were as bad as the ones served here. I saw so many great reviews and said okay lets go here. But boy what a mistake. The toilets got stuck for about 45 minutes and nobody could use the restroom. The shower head kept dripping water constantly. Overall I'd rate this stay a solid 4/10. I did get the standard room, so maybe I have to pay more to get a better room. But the stains, the toilet, and the tv should not be a problem in any room no matter the price. Ive stayed at motels with cleaner rooms than this one. "

"The pool and slide were amazing. The suite was spacious and it was lovely to have a kitchen and balcony. The staff were super responsive and helpful. The lifeguards did an amazing job keeping the kids safe, especially Claire. The only thing I can say that’s constructive feedback is that there are not nearly enough lounge chairs at the pool. Guests are lined up at 8am when it opens and line 90% of the chairs with towels/belongings by 8:15am. If you come to the pool at 9, there’s nowhere to put your things. We had to take cafe chairs to just have a spot for our things, other than leaving them the ground. Once we figured out what we had to do, we also got in line at 8am to get a chair but I really wish we didn’t have to do that while on vacation. I love lazy mornings but realize that’s not possible here. Other than this, we were very happy at this resort. We will definitely be coming back! "
