Charming! My room faced the beautiful garden and was the quietest place on earth. Hotel is in an old merchant's house facing the canal...lots of history with 21st century comfort. The staff was particularly helpful in locating my misplaced suitcase (airport issue). Location could not be better....short walk to the Dam and tram stop. Around the corner is the Tulip Museum, Ann Frank house and Westernkirke (free daily organ concert). I will definitely return.

We were blown away with the service and care we received from the staff at Sir Adam. Raymond, one of the staff members, went above and beyond for us during our stay. The hotel is brand new and the decor and feel is so hip and modern. The rooms were spacious and the beds were extremely comfortable. Great hotel; it may be old but it wears its age well. (Old in this case doesn't mean dirty or frayed at the edges). Quiet room, very soft comfortable bed. Food in the restaurant, especially dinner was very good with very good steaks available; breakfast was adequate as a little more variety would be nice. Very friendly and attentive staff in the hotel, always a sincerely warm greeting when I passed by the front desk.
