Hotel Emion Kyoto
10/10 Excellent
"Staff was Awesome! The rooms on the 8th floor were exceptional and very clean. The bedding for the four of my family members, showers were superb, and restrooms extremely clean.
The hotel was a seven minute ride from Kyoto Station. The restaurants they offered were top-notch and a variety of sushi, waygu steak/kobe beef, noodles, ramen, soba, and etc.
The taxi rides to Historical sites were well worth it for us. The trains are very accommodating around town and the wards.
We loved the Tarimachi area for shopping, food and people watching. So much to offer.
We will be back in the future.
Family from Denver, Colorado. May/June 2026."
"Excellent location, very clean room, spacious and with comfortable beds and plenty of storage space. Staff extremely friendly (as always in Japan). Overall very good value for money, would definitely recommend"
"This place is amazing. It truly made Kyoto that much better. Staff is extremely friendly, they will help with absolutely anything you need. We rented e-bikes every day while we were there which helped getting around town. If I ever come back to Kyoto, I will only be staying here."
"3min walk from main Kyoto station. 5min walk from limousine bus stops.
7-11 directly connected to hotel.
Breakfast spread was good.
Free flow amenities.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!"
"The rooms were a tad on the small side even for 2 people but other than that, it was an excellent hotel with a great staff, useful amenities, excellent breakfast buffet, and available coffee & tea throughout the day. The blackout shades were a welcome bonus! Highly recommended."
