Hotels in Upper Manhattan

"The reason why I rated this low is there was loud music playing until 3am due to some party. I had my daughter 15 and myself and we had to get up at 5:30 am for her Nike indoor track race at the armory. Why would a hotel allow a party with loud music until 3 am ??? Shameful and harmful . I can understand having a party but a hotel should stop music at a reasonable hour 11 pm or 12 am latest but 3 am?!!’ So we did not sleep . Also 27$ amenity fee for what? Not clear. No parking and no free breakfast so not clear what we were paying this fee for? All hotels have WiFi - that can’t be reason. so anyways charged 400$ for our 1 room for 1 night and not allowed to sleep due to loud noise and pretty much nothing else - had to pay for parking at another facility and get breakfast - but overall a hotel that allows loud music until 3 am and interrupting or not allowing sleep is not a hotel. "

"It was good overall I went to the restaurant one evening and no one ever came to my table after about 20-30 minutes so I left but besides that it was cool"

"I didn't need shops nearby as I was ridesharing to my weekend catering work UES. But there was a nice desk if I had needed it. The thing is I had to fill out a piece of paper with my credit card number, and I asked if it would be shredded when they had run my card. They said they were keeping on file in case I file a complaint or try to get a refund. So where is it now? I'm still very uncomfortable about it. I plan to call and ask again. I thought booking through a third party would take care of my payment security but clearly not. "

"It's mid-March, so didn't need it. Arthur was polite and helpful. My room was clean and comfortable. The location was fine, there were bikes and scooters avaliable for rent to do more extensive roaming."

"No security. Woke up nightly to people in the hallways screaming at each other. Walls are thin. No heat in our room. Do not stay here! "

"Friendly and very helpful front desk staff. Had a little bar area and the bartender made a wonderful manhattan cocktail. Added breakfast for 2 when booking, which was not really a full breakfast so that was misleading. They gave us $20 credit which paid for 2 breakfast sandwiches that were very good but did not cover drinks so we paid extra for coffee and OJ. Valet parking is $55 but there is also $10 of state taxes on parking so $65 per night for parking. If you have mobility issues it might be challenging as they had several somewhat steep stairs to get to the entrance of the hotel and I didn’t see an elevator but I could have missed it? Had connect 4 game and pool table in the lobby area, and vibrant art displayed. Room and bed was comfortable. They held luggage for us when he checked out. Overall we enjoyed our stay, thank you!"

"DO NOT STAY!!!!!! AWFUL!!!! It was not clean - bathroom felt grimy and disgusting. The heater made loud banging noises all night long The bed is ROCK HARD. The walls are so thin you hear absolutely everything including every noise outside - it was in the most unsafe area with drunks and drugged up homeless people all over who grabbed my suitcase from me when I tried to leave. We also had someone hugging our door handle multiple times throughout the night and that’s when we decided we had to leave immediately it was so UNSAFE! The staff is not friendly and completely GHOSTED once I messaged about my concerns with the building!! The floors were coated in wax it was hard to even walk- as well as the stair case was so slippery I fell doo the star case and fractured my leg. I WOULD NOT BOOK!!! "
