"This was a pretty new hotel. It was clean and well cared for. The staff (especially Victoria at the front desk) were very helpful. There was construction nearby on a street car station which will connect with the rest of the city. It wasn't open yet and there were a few apartments being built nearby as well. It was very quiet here though and you really can't tell. Great location with it being so close to River Market. Very safe. Nice bathroom, beds, and a good tv. I think this place will be an even better location for a KC visit once the pedestrian and streetcar lines are finished. Highly recommend it!"

"The property isn't really what it appears to be online. It's in the manufacturing district, so there's really not a whole lot near it. Also, there's trains that run nightly and they all you know that they're running. It makes it hard to sleep through the night. The staff was friendly and helpful, but next time I'm in KC, I'd look for somewhere else."

"The lobby was nice. I am a single woman traveling alone and was put in a room directly opposite the elevators. The door had a half inch gap that I put a towel against to block the noise. The lock was a chain across the door. The interior was shabby and the tub didn’t drain as I was showering. I was surprised because this brand is usually better and the price gave me high expectations. Too pricey for what I got, which was essentially a three star hotel."

"As usual, we had to immediately change rooms due to horrible stains on the bathroom area carpet. We were quickly given a room with no carpet. Breakfast had improved some since last stay. Boiled eggs over reconstituted/liquid eggs would be nice. Best to be ready for the big World Cup gathering."

"I stayed at this property to be close to a work training site. The property and room was clean and staff were friendly. There was a mini fridge and microwave in the room. I reported two issues with the bathroom and it was never resolved during my stay by staff. I had to find housekeeper to obtain a new bottle of lotion to hang on the bathroom as the existing one was watery. In the hotel pictures on the website, it shows an area to order hot food and beverages. When I arrived, I was informed that the kitchen shut down a year ago. Very misleading. And the pantry area with items for purchase was only about 20% stocked. Please note that there are no restaurants or stores within walking distance so please be prepared to stock up on any snacks and other items for your room."
