"You dont actually meet anybody, but there is a help-yourself permanent supply of pastries, bread, cereal, fruit and refreshments. Room was excellent, spacious with good products and sumptious towels. Plenty of parking and very peaceful"

Dinner in the restaurant was excellent and a varied menu catered for all our tastes. Delicious breakfast each morning in lovely relaxed surroundings. We were very well looked after during our 3 night stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend The Jug & Bottle. We will definitely return."

"This was a last minute overnight stop. Bar meal was fine and breakfast was the usual buffet style which was regularly replenished. All staff were friendly and courteous. Plenty of parking. Finding the room and navigating around the old building can be a bit of maze. Room was, clean and well equipped with a refreshing shower in the morning."
