"The hotel was very nice. First of all the location is just perfect. You can walk pretty much anywhere, and otherwise you have a subway line just a few minutes away. it's also very convenient to move in taxi. The room was spacious and very nice. It had good amenities, a coffee maker, a nice TV, tons of storage space, and the bed was super comfortable. The bathroom was great too. And everything was ultra clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. And breakfast was very good, totally worth it. I would definitely recommend it and go back my next time in Kyoto."

"The hotel was beautiful. It was in a great location, walking distance to all major locations and train stations! The room was clean, beautifully decorated, and very spacious! It was also very very clean which we loved! The snack area for guests in the basement wloorwas also a great touch! We didn't get to eat at the restaurant located inside the hotel but it seemed busy and always smelled like amazing food! "

"R West Group VIA INN Prime Kyotoeki Hachijoguchi is a solid choice mainly because of its unbeatable location. While the rooms do feel a bit outdated, the convenience more than makes up for it. The hotel is just a short walk from Kyoto Station and very close to malls and shopping centers, making it easy to get around and find food or things to do. Having a 7-Eleven right in the building is a huge plus and incredibly convenient, especially after a long day of sightseeing. The pajamas provided are also nice and comfortable, which was a pleasant bonus. Overall, if location and convenience matter more to you than modern room design, this hotel is definitely worth considering."
