"Breakfast buffet was not good. Food was always cold except when they cooked the omelet for us. That should be available more often. Dinner and drinks were not impressive. Our waiter was fun and always remembered our names. Don't pay for the Puma Trek/VIP pass like we did at reception. Found out later that people staying can do the hike for free. Rooms had a great view and the location was great. Parking was always avaliable and easy. I did enjoy our stay loved the decor. All the staff members were pleasant and helpful."

"Awesome place! Only stayed there for a night, but the cabin was excellent. Only 2 of us and only used the front room, but small room in the back w/ twin beds would be great for kids or extra traveler’s. The staff we spoke with Cesar (front desk), Luis and Marie (restaurant) were all very friendly and courteous. Wish we had stayed there longer! Views from the entire property were incredible, cold pool and hot tub was perfect to relax in. A couple shops and restaurants in walking distance, this would be a great base camp to explore the lake and jungle. Thank you!"

"We absolutely loved our stay at Camino Verde. The views from our room and from the lounge/breakfast area were incredible. We could easily see the pacific ocean! Breakfast was delicious and the hotel was very helpful with coordinating tours and transfers. Highly highly recommend!! "

"Great location to visit Monteverde. Bad location for going out to eat. Pictures obviously from long ago. The floors in the room was so loud and creaky, and so was the neighbors. I wouldn't spend more than one night here."
