"Hotel is lovely, very clean and fresh looking, looks like new. Even the cheapest rooms big and very nice.
Quiet, can’t hear traffic or people banging doors in corridor.
Only issue is you can’t get lunch in bar/restaurant not open til 3pm, the lovely coffee shop in atrium is open and has sandwiches etc but I’m gluten free so wasn’t much choice.
Would def recommend

"We arrived at hotel a few hours before check in and I was not informed by reception that the spa was being closed early at 4.30pm due to maintenance work.
When we checked in at 3pm we were then informed by a different member of staff the spa facilities were being closed early at 5pm, the spa actually closed at 4.30pm.
We spent about 45 minutes in the spa before closing.
I was not informed of the early closing of the spa facilities by email or phone as I spoke earlier in the week to a member of staff regarding my booking.
We were annoyed and upset as we booked the hotel for my 65th Birthday specifically for the spa which we were led to believe was closing at the usual time of 7pm.
We would therefore have booked another spa hotel if I was aware of the situation.
The customer service was very poor and we were not happy at all."
"A nice long wknd break in Chester. Staff were friendly. Loved the water dispenser in corridor. Hotel’s location was perfect. The rooms are a nice size with a large bed. Felt comfortable during our stay. Occasional noise from other guests returning to their rooms in early hours of morning; but that happens. Seal on the shower door had come away and so water poured onto bathroom floor during shower & the shower controller was coming away from the wall, which lent to the feeling the rooms were a little tired in places. This didn’t impact our stay and would happily book again. "
"Room very clean, beds very comfortable. Only criticism is the bathroom could do with an upgrade (stayed im a family room). Air conditioning effective and easy to work."
"Rooms were cleaned to an extremely high standard.
WiFi worked well enough for my needs. Was only watching YouTube whilst relaxing in the evening . Wouldn't know what it would be like if i had to use it during the day for work.
Breakfast was very nice.
Not the most amazing selection but food items were replenished before they completely ran out and tables were cleared and cleaned very quickly

"The breakfast was superb, everything you could wish for…from toast and croissants and doughnuts to a full cooked breakfast.
Our room was fantastic with a view of the mill from bedroom window, bathroom was great for me being disabled, being able to walk in to a wet room was a huge bonus, not available at most hotels."
