The corridor leading to the toilets off reception smells terribly and it was the same last time we stayed too, Other than that, the hotel is lovely, the food in the Palm Court is great and the breakfast great too. The treatments in the spa were also amazing. Bathrooms great in the rooms too."

"Booked a double room for 2 nights with pull out bed for my son - his bed wasn’t made up when we arrived - check in staff were rude and disinterested. Walls very thin, reception areas and restaurant nice, first floor, our room and pool area and changing rooms shabby and in desperate need of a deep clean, lick of paint / update. Service slow and ineffectual on several occasions. Several time staff just weren’t there. Surprise £34 charge to park the car in the hotel’s own carpark for two nights (wasn’t outlined on the booking site or confirmation) All in all an overpriced, 2.5 star-ish experience. Bizarre for a crowne plaza / IHG hotel where I’ve usually had decent experiences. "
