DL the public transit app, MTA& familiarize yourself with it. Pedestrian traffic is a battle of who can be the most oblivious & not move. Nearly everything you want to tour or see will require a timed entry ticket. NYC's a plan every day destination.

New York is the greatest city in the world!! But only as good as how comfortable you feel in your hotel, and how you are dressed for the weather to walk and explore. Must see Central Park (plan to include Bow Bridge area), a Broadway show and the Met

This is an expensive city. The attractions are world class. The subway is accessible and inexpensive if you purchase a weekly pass and use the Subway App. I highly recommend purchasing CityPass to avoid the extra fees associated with many attractions

New York is always an incredible experience. We went to a concert at Lincoln Center and an outdoor jazz concert in Hudson River park, saw a musical (Hadestown), went to MOMA and Metropolitan Mus. of Art, did some shopping, ate at amazing restaurants.

We packed in a lot during our stay. We saw The Notebook the musical. You gotta eat lunch or dinner At 230 Fifth rooftop. We took a private yacht out to see the bridges and Statue of Liberty from the water. It was amazing. We also loved RiseNY. Enjoy

New York City is a unique location in the world. Like any other city, it will be noisy, smelly and busy. There is virtually nothing you cannot find in it, and Times Square is the best kind of zoo ever (look up the Scorpions song). Awesome experience

The City is so vibrant and easy to get around. You can find anything you want in this town...high end shopping, economy shopping...really nice restaurants and cheap eat restaurants. We had a great time at Gotham Comedy and jazz at Village Vanguard.

I find New York to be like a big small town. This may sound strange, but it is easy to navigate on foot or subway -- it's flat with mostly straight streets which makes it easy. You can easily find a decent place to eat or something to do last minute.
"This hotel is very close to the action but features a great place to stay in the city right in the center of midtown and near Times Square. The service was excellent and even with how busy the hotel was, you never felt it from the way their logistics were ran. The space is compact but as expected. However, it was very clean, surprising quiet and had all the amenities you would expect from a hotel double the price. I will definitely be staying here again."
"Great hotel, close to Times Square without being too close. Very friendly & professional staff. We stay in NYC 3 times a year for work and this was easily our favorite hotel yet. I’ll definitely be back!"
"The view was AMAZING! Friendly staff, loved the cookies at check in. Hotel was centrally located and perfect walking distance from the subways, a bodega, and all the hubbub of NYC"
"I had a great stay at this hotel. The location is fantastic. The staff was helpful and very nice. The hotel was very busy, but the service we received was great. "
