"This is a hidden gem in Edinburgh who would have thought that you could stay in a football stadium. The location was great with buses directly into the town centre just around the corner. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful.The room was modern and had the most comfortable huge bed. "Lovely homely hotel in a beautiful period property, very comfortable! Close to plenty of shops, cafés and restaurants, and not forgetting The Canny Man's next door, which is a cracky pub with lots of character. There are loads of buses in and out of the centre, or to Leith if you wish to explore there too, so this is a great neighbourhood to stay in the city. We highly recommend this place, and we're hoping to return again in the not-so-distant future."

"What needs to be said before anything else is that the staff here were amazing. Every single person I spoke to was genuinely lovely. My room was was spotlessly clean and exactly as advertised. The mini kitchenette was a great addition. The bed was comfy, shower lovely and powerful, and the happy hour down in the lobby sitting space was a lovely way to relax before dinner. The Resident is room only, but they offer some lovely discounts on a great wee variety of local restaurants, cafes and bars....

"This place is a must while in Edinburgh. Beautiful building with amazing staff ;-) A 10 mins walk to the Murrayfield stadium and 5 mins to restaurants and cafe. The hotel has also a restaurant which was excellent. "

"Absolute belter of a location for a serviced apartment in Edinburgh. Only fifteen mins walk from the west end of Princes Street and a few mins walk to Haymarket station. Highly recommend this place, especially if you’re after a high-end self-catered option. "

"A well-equipped hotel in a quiet location. Historic architecture. Comfortable and clean. The room has everything you'll need for a few days. The floors are carpeted. They also provide slippers, which many hotels don't offer. There was a kettle and tea and coffee as gift. It's within walking distance of central locations. There's also a large park in front. Easy check-in and check-out. We stayed for four nights and I think everything was fine."

"Haymarket is a peaceful part of Edinburgh and Gardner’s Crescent is a very quiet road. I mainly walked in and out of the city centre, which is done quite easily, but also used the tram, rail, and bus services with stops nearby. The staff were all very helpful. A particular shout out to Sakuba, Sophie, and Krish, and the rest of the breakfast crew who made every morning start well."
