"No water for hrs"

"My room was cleaned, but they never did the floors our entire stay, so they got pretty bad. There are absolutely no face clothes on site, they are understaffed. I feel bad for the staff because they are working so hard, but they do not have enough to keep up. The place is falling apart and it is not clean, the lounge chairs in the lobby are filthy, walls are dirty, there is a big hole in the walking bridge over the pools. The beach is full of seaweed and it stinks, a lot. I do not recommend this resort. I honestly have no idea how they have the reviews they do. The food is average, I was expecting some good seafood and fresh fruit but they ran out of the fruit early in the day. All the food they actually ran out of all the time, the ice cream for the kids, the snacks, the breakfast items in the morning, they were continually running out certain food items. "

"Overall great resort but when checking in they claimed we booked a room at the “cheaper” sister resort and if we wanted to stay at the Oceanside resort we actually booked we had to upgrade and pay more which was extremely disappointing. "

"Visited to celebrate our anniversary and left thoroughly underwhelmed. The property is old and carries a persistent musty smell throughout. Our room had visible molds on the white curtains, closet were very musty, room was persistently humid, with slippery floors and an air conditioning unit that simply didn’t work. Mind you we actually booked Excellence Exclusive Club, which I’d strongly advise against. The only real difference is access to one additional restaurant and bar. The exclusive pool is ironically worse than the main pool, and there’s no pool bar — which defeats the purpose entirely. The beach was poorly maintained and had an unpleasant odor that made it difficult to enjoy. A real shame for a beach resort. Also we there were vendors who were trying to sell stuffs at the beach. Food across the property was mediocre at best — I’d rate most dining options 4 to 5 out of 10. The one exception was Spice Asian Cuisine, which was genuinely good and deserves an 8/10. We specifically mentioned we were celebrating our anniversary. The “special treatment” amounted to a banner on the door, two roses, and a card at dinner. No personal touch, no effort — just a token gesture. The staff were friendly, and that’s the nicest thing I can say. We came here to try something different. We won’t be coming back"

"I booked this hotel because my flight landed late and the property is close to the airport and offeres a shuttle service. The shuttle was a bit late, but nothing too crazy and the driver was very nice and communicative. when we arrived to the hotel, the lobby was full to bursting with people waiting to check-in. The line for the reception had easily more than 30 people waiting. No one had told us that there was a flight cancellation and that the passangers from that flight were staying in the hotel, and that those with an existing reservation could skip the line and pass to another agent that was handeling reservation check-in. And so we waited in line for about 20 minutes, until one of the other people that came with us in the shuttle went to investigate and realized we didn't have to wait in that line... Other than that, the staff was very nice and helpfull, the room was clean and comfortable with a great shower, and the included breakfast was ok."

"Great clean property with spacious rooms. The only thing i would complain about is the food . Food is mediocre and There is only 1 restaurant that’s split in half . They say 6 restaurants but the reality is its only one the serves different food every night . You don’t have the much of choice of what kind of you want to eat ."

"Great family resort with staff catering to your children. Went during their busiest time, high school spring break (US) and it was packed but it did not cause issues with restaurant openings or lines of people. The only area it affected was pool chairs but that is every resort you visit. Highly recommend for families "

"The only thing I thought was a negative was there are no reservations for the restaurants. Some nights was an hour wait to sit down for dinner. "
