"The resort its self is beautiful! If you are looking for a swimmable beach this is not it! There are alligators, one day people saw 5. The food is okay the portions are small. Also be mindful that Chinese and buffet is close some days, but they don’t rely this information on the details before booking or checking in at the resort. Some lady said it was due to low season, which is not fair because we are paying same price as high season. Another gentleman said it was all year around, which they NEED to have this information. On Saturday both restaurants were closed and there were so many piss people because the wait was more than 1 hour if you didn’t have reservations. Other than that everything else was pretty good."

"We spent five nights at the Excellence Riviera Cancun over Memorial Day weekend. We had a slight mix up with our room but Samuel rectified it for us. We stayed in a swim up room in Building 6. The beach wasn’t ideal with seaweed but we enjoyed the view and sound of the ocean regardless. They did a great job of trying to keep it clean. We loved the food, the entertainment and especially the lazy river. The dinner on the beach was amazing as well. We have stayed at many Excellence properties and really enjoyed this one. Special shout outs to Jose, Edy, Pablo, Manuel, Samuel and Cecilia."

"We had an amazing stay at this hotel and loved absolutely everything! I traveled with my two daughters, aged 6 and 10, and it was truly a perfect vacation for both adults and children. From the moment we checked in, everything was organized so well and the staff made us feel very welcome. The food was excellent with a great variety every day, and the restaurants were wonderful. The animation team did a fantastic job — my daughters were excited and entertained all the time! Our room was beautiful, comfortable, and always spotless. Housekeeping cleaned every day and everything was perfectly maintained. The hotel is incredibly clean and very family-friendly. This was one of the best vacations we’ve ever had, especially for the kids. We will definitely come back again! Highly recommended!"

"From the time I arrived to the time i left. I can not get over the beauty of this resort. Everything is well maintained and clean. The drinks and the food were amazing. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The pool staff amazing from the bingo to the water Zumba. There was always something to go and something going on. I can not wait to go back"
