Don’t Not Choose This Hotel

I will NEVER stay or recommend this hotel. Where do I begin??? When was checking in was swarmed by a half dozen guests warning us not stay should’ve been first warning. The smell of the building was that of an old locker room. Our room had no AC asked to be moved to another and no such luck. Had to pay a taxi driver to go buy fans so would make the room a bare minimum of comfort. Had to literally had to maneuver in the shower due the shower head was outdated it sprayed the ceiling and walls. Went to the buffet for breakfast was delicious lunch had to go out to eat barely any food and dinner was good of the choices they had half the menu was not available to order. The pool was like a warm bath water instead of refreshing. Other guests that we met at the pool said the same things about this hotel…This was to be a great trip with my daughter and cousin but was not a good experience at this hotel.

Excelente lugar si el plan de vacaciones es relajación y tranquilidad. Sus buffets son buenos y los restaurantes para cenar también, especialmente el Pier 12. El personal es muy amable, desde los que te reciben en el lobby hasta los meseros de los restaurantes y el personal de limpieza. Las instalaciones parecen muy antiguas, solo funciona uno de los 2 elevadores del hotel y el WiFi, ese ni lo conocí aunque hubo la promesa de arreglarlo (me hospedé 5 noches)

This our second time staying here. We stayed about 10 years ago. While the staff was amazing. Jose and silberio were just amazing and made the trip worth it. But the food selection was horrible and the quality of what they did have was even worse. I didn’t eat There for 4 days. The only decent meal I had was off property. The build definitely needs some love. The sink would randomly start running by itself. We will be back but not for the food. But for the staff

El hotel se encuentra en muy malas condiciones, falto de mantenimiento. Nos dejaron sin agua por alrededor 2 horas, justo entre 8-10pm aproximadamente. This property needs a complete destruction and rebuilt. The WiFi did not work. The property is all inclusive including room service but my room phone did not work. The bedsheets were torn and had major stains on it. The towels had stains on it and looked extremely old. There has been no updates done to the property in 13 years. The view is gorgeous, but this place is lower than a Motel 6. Also ran out of a lot of the food.

Horrible. We ended up leaving the property early because of the horrible conditions. I have bed bug bites on my legs. I have contact Expedia but they have failed to connect with this hotel for a refund or partial refund. They stated Someone would contact me and I haven’t heard back. This hotel used to be great 4 years ago. The quality in everything has gone down. I will never return.

We have been to Golden Parnassus before and enjoyed the previsous visits. The resort is still nice, though it needs a little TLC (tender loving cared) in paint up trim and etc. But, a great value for customers who use this facility. Great beach, the foods is "excellent' and the staff very polite, cordial and helpful. A nice stay.

Excelente el restaurante Pier 12 tanto la comida como el personal, excelente la limpieza de la alberca. Nefasto el personal del bar de al lado de la alberca y Breeze te atienden fatal, ni te voltean a ver y te ignoran seas del país que seas. El hotel requiere ser refurbished para pasar de bueno a excelente. Por cierto el chico de room service muy amable y dispuesto, al igual que los de recepción muy amables.

Didn’t like that the room phone didn’t work, the safe had an error that required overriding to get things out. I would have liked to see more things going on at the resort such as events. I very well could have been out during some of those things but while I was there I only saw and participated in a 3 round game of pool volleyball then they removed the net right after. But the bathroom toilet had problems refilling with water. Stains on the toilet seat, minor cosmetic damage around the building. The staff was amazing though! I’d come back to this location. A handful of negative things didn’t out weigh how great the full experience was. Just could have been better with those things being addressed.

The room was dirty. The sixth floor was covered in dragonflies. The food was mediocre a lot of the food that was put out at the buffet didn’t have labels so you weren’t able to tell what you were eating. The water in my friend’s hot tub in her room came out yellow. We were both on the same floor. There were stains on all of the linen washcloths. The showers were extremely slippery with no bars to grab onto somewhat could easily have fallen and gotten very hurt. Most of the staff was kind and friendly, but the overnight Concierge was rude and disorganized. I pay for amenities I never received and rather than him being diligent so that I could get the service and money that I paid for he kept pushing it off on the next person telling me I had to wait the next day And my trip was over. I will never stay here ever again. I started a dispute immediately with my travel company and of course the hotel never responded to my partial refund request. This place looks great in pictures but in reality it’s very rundown chairs and couches with visibly peeling upholstery. They really sell the 24 hour room service, but the menu is outdated and half of the items are not available . Never again.
