"At least three convenient stores around the hotel. 15-minutes walk to the Nijojo Castle and the Imperial Palace. 5-minutes walk to Karasuma Oike subway station. Room is clean and good sound proof. "

"Room was very spacious and clean. Breakfast was good. You had either a western or Japanese option on top of the Buffett. Japanese course meal was unique. It would have the description under each mini bowl which was very convenient. Location was the best. Close to the shopping area, Gion, Nishiki Market, Pontocho Alley, and Kamo River."

"Great hotel! Rooms were clean and beds were sooooo comfortable. Location is near many stations (shijo-Gion to the south and Sanjo to the north). Close to the river and other historic neighbourhoods. Honestly an ideal home base for your Kyoto adventure. Staff is attentive and friendly and the hotel and area are quiet. We didn’t opt for the Japanese style breakfast but we saw them in the morning and they looked good."
