"After arrival we decided to have a meal in the Bar, waited about 15 minutes to order although not busy. When the food arrived chips were not cooked and salad had dressing on that wasn’t mentioned. Food was changed but had to wait a while.
Breakfast was ok, although busy."
"Unfortunately this hotel feels like is been abandoned. To be fair the room was clean and quiet but had no hot water.
The rest of the hotel felt like something out of an apocalypse movie. Went to speak to reception about the water and was greeted with a note saying call this number in an emergency. After ringing the bell and waiting I called the number, left a message and was never called back. Breakfast was swimming in grease. The whole hotel needs some investment."
"They charge to use the pool, which I think should be made clear when booking. Whilst only £5 a time, that is quite a lot for quite a run down facility that wasn't very clean.
The rooms were OK, once I swapped for a second room as they first smelt like someone had been smoking in it quite recently."
"I've stayed at this hotel on many occasions but I'm not sure I will again,in the past parking was free then last year there was a charge this time it shot up to £15 a night ,
the resteraunt has become very expensive mainly due to charging £6.50 for sides i.e fish and chips with chips as an extra, a basic bottle of wine £35 needless to say for the second and third nights of our stay we went elsewhere to eat.The staff as ale=ways very pleasant and professional. It's a shame the management now want to treat their customers as mugs. Without the sharp pricing practices I would have given a five star rating as Ihave done in the past."
