"This was the best hotel I have stayed in Japan, and it was located in a quiet and peaceful area. Despite this it was walking distance to gion and major tourist attractions in Kyoto making night strolls very convenient. The room was super super spacious unlike most hotels and it was a very comfortable stay. It was clean and I particularly enjoyed the tatami style room, which was very relaxing at the end of the day.
