"We stayed 2 nights here and found the experience pleasent. The hotel staff were friendly and spoke english very well, communication was easy. The neighborhood was quiet and charming, a short walk away from To-ji Temple and Umekoji park. Beds were comfortable, much more so than other hotels we stayed at. The room and bathroom were spacious. The only downside to the quiet neighborhood setting was it is a slightly longer walk to Kyoto station or restuarants and shops (Aeon mall is not far). Not a...

"The hotel staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. However, the hotel is quite dated and the decor is flat and tired. The hotel is close to Kyoto station - a 15 minute walk or so. Overall, I think other Stay Sakura hotels in Kyoto are nicer and so would probably choose to stay in a different Stay Sakura hotel in future. "

"Tradition ancient Kyoto-style house in great location. Parking space right outside the house. Spacious living room and bedroom. Well equipped kitchen with tableware, cookware and seasonings. Narrow and slanting staircase to 2F so must be very careful when walking up and down."
