"The lady Indian receptionist was the nicest I have ever met. The breakfast is generous. Everything is super clean. The location is great. The owner is efficient and friendly."

"The place was easy to find and get into.Outside, you're in Chinatown with plenty of vibe and things to do. Inside, once you get past the scruffy staircase and dodgy lift, the 3rd floor is ok. The room is acceptable, clean, and appointed with fridge, microwave, toaster, cups, and glasses. The bathroom is modern. However, the walls are incrwthin and yiu will hear the noisy neighbours playing music and having a domestic until 1am. After that, the club over the road will be noisy until after 4am....

"Great Location, right next to the canal. Plenty of bars and restaurants on the doorstep. All the staff were really helpful. Internet very good, hotel clean and tidy. Breakfast was also very good with plenty of options. All in all a great stay and will use again for our next stay in birmingham. "

"The staff at breakfast were lovely. Particularly the man who greeted us (didn’t get his name 😞) and Maggie, the waitress who helped us with cutlery and chatted to us. She was very friendly and interested in both myself and my daughter and our trip to Birmingham. The food at breakfast was lovely and laid out really well. The reception staff were also very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and perfect for what we needed. Would definitely go back again and recommend to anyone."

"A nice little hotel above a pub. Decent enough location around a 15-20 minute walk from New Street station. Surrounding area not great but a decent stay for the price and would stay again. Nice staff."
